lesson #224: my headache is like a korean drama

Have been having a continuous headache for 4 days. It just seems never-ending! Am getting quite frustrated now. Can't even do my readings because head feels like a mini disco club. This is crap. And ever since SMU switched to random clinics coverage instead of Raffles, the service has been crap. If you're an SMU student, please try to avoid the clinic at Paragon. The waiting time is just too long, because you have to queue behind several people doing health checks, and a health check takes up a couple of hours. So now I'm at a loss as to which clinic I should visit. It was much better last year with Raffles Medical's coverage! And the doc at the Takashimaya clinic was nice and friendly and efficient. Sob. I miss Raffles already!


Some people may know that I dropped my *confirmed* MPW bid last week due to reasons related to Gary. Well, I re-bidded and I didn't get it. Luckily I managed to get a Company Law class together with Yang! Hopefully this term's courses won't prove too heavy though I have a feeling they would be. In random order we have, drumrolls please:

Note: Running for Asoc exco. Yes! Me! Running! You can push your jaws up now. Some people have expressed displeasure / disbelief at me running, Gary has expressed both. Specifically he said that I am being fake and inconsiderate of others who deserve the posts more. Well, I say if you're displeased, then tell it to my face. Am running 'cos I have previous experience and I'm good and nowhere did it say that you have to be one of the elite few to be able to run. Anyway, chances are slim I'll get in due to the berth of network of some people so what's up with the fuss? I really thought people wouldn't take me seriously at all when I wanted to run. Suddenly they're taking it so seriously, I almost feel scandalous.
