lesson #222: convocation

The 2005 freshmen intakes are kinda an unenthusiastic bunch! Disappointed to see that they were streaming out of the Suntec convention hall in the middle of the rock concert. Last year, more people stayed for the rock concert (which occurs after the proper freshmen-welcoming speeches thingummy). People were standing on chairs and waving their ties and scarves around, for goodness' sake. Am quite sad for the bands, which actually sound quite good but under-appreciated.
