lesson #204: taboo!
Went for the SMU pageant audition just now. I wasn't aware that the incoming freshies are also contenders for the pageant. Saw a few pretty girls just now so chances of being in the final 5 are really zilch. Plus I don't look really nice in videos. Plus I screwed up potential brownie points by answering their question in the most politically incorrect manner.
Q: So tell us, how do your friends describe you?
A: Err.. ermhhh... (
at this point in time my mind was completely blank. I can't think of anything else besides the images of going clubbing and dancing and my girls saying...) Erm, some people say that... I'm... hot?
If that's not the most self-centered answer you can think of, then I don't know what is! Argh! And the whole interview was filmed! And they're gonna watch me say, "I'm... hot?" for God knows how many times and they're gonna start falling over their chairs and laughing and laughing and laughing...
(At the moment that I'm typing this my whole face is burning red. Freak! Now that I think about it, I still can't think of any positive thing to say about myself. People say I'm stubborn. Or that I'm bitchy, or evil, or mean. Eh, surely I have some positive qualities?)Argh! Right. If nothing else, at least I've got a couple of Carnivore vouchers out of it. Also pulled Gary into the pageant. I think he can get into the final five, judging by the looks of the pageant guys whom I've seen.
After I've finished making an ass of myself, went to Holland V to meet up with Ms VVVV and her dear boyfriend. Went to Settlers and played Blackmail, in which I was targetted because apparently I was The Evil One who kept sending thugs to beat up my opponents and causing them to land in hospitals and thus losing three turns. We played a friendlier game after that: the ever so famous Taboo! Was fun. But the boys were annoying when they started distracting us, because we couldn't think long enough while laughing! Shall put up the piccies soon.
A cause of worry: the harsh air-conditioner at my workplace has been giving my face problems. The skin's drier than usual, looks really sallow, and a mini breakout is on the way. Thankfully tomorrow is my last day so hopefully my skin will clear up soon, because I don't like pimples! Always so tempted to pop them, when I know I shouldn't. Weirdly enough the breakout's only on the right side of my face, while the left side's still relatively clean. So I look like Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde.
